Music videos have always blended art and sex. Every year new ideas pair music with sex to tease our imagination. PROVOKR picks the five hottest music videos to emphasize just how hot music got this year.

Lauren Jauregui’s ‘More Than That’

The former Fifth Harmony member kicked off the year with one of her first solo singles, “More Than That.” The video is set in a strip club filled with women (both performers and patrons), with Jauregui looking like an almost-naked goddess. The hazy, dreamy shots in slow-mo also show scantily dressed women that make this video even steamier.

Normani’s “Motivation”

Another former Fifth Harmony gal, Normani nearly broke the internet with her hypnotizing dance moves in the video for her single “Motivation” released in August. With a classic R&B style, it has a fun flirty energy that wraps up with Normani looking hotter than ever as she shakes it in the pouring rain.

Camila Cambello and Shawn Mendes’ “Senorita”

“Señorita,” a slow and sultry song with a crisp Latin beat, is the ode to a hot and dysfunctional summer love we didn’t know we needed. It’s by far the sexiest collab of the year, and the beautiful couple’s on-screen chemistry has had us sweating since it dropped in June.

Halsey’s “Nightmare”

A super hot girl power anthem, Halsey is her typically bold, unapologetic self. “Nightmare” also combines punk spin and sexy in this video. With Halsey dressed in latex and baring her teeth, she projects a wild look, giving the politically charged video a daring, enticing edge.

Doja Cat and Tyga’s “Juicy”

Who knew fruit could be so sexy? The visuals in Doja Cat’s video for her single “Juicy,” featuring Tyga, seems to bring suggestive emoji use to life. Its bright colors and flirtiness is playfully sexy in a delightfully artistic way.

Teyana Taylor and Kehlani’s “Morning”

Released last month, Teyana Taylor and Kehlani’s “Morning” heightens and stimulates all the senses. The two women thoroughly tease us with their sexy photographs and old-school video clips. You can almost feel the silk sheets and full-length gloves on your own skin when you’re watching.

Dua Lipa and Silk City’s “Electricity”

The gorgeous Dua Lipa has released another danceable pop song. Her single, “Electricity” featuring Diplo and Mark Ronson, brings heat to this party. Clad in a barely-there white t-shirt, she dances through an empty apartment and a house party and channels a sexy energy that spills right out of the tv screen.
