The Weeknd is everyone’s favorite collaborator, working with everyone from pop superstars to the hottest new rappers. Here’s a list of our favorite collaborations from the R&B artist!

“The Zone” (Drake)

This is the first collaboration between these two Canadian artists. Originally recorded for The Weeknd’s 2011 mixtape Thursday, it was eventually remastered and released as the third single for his 2012 album Trilogy.

“You Right” (Doja Cat)

Doja Cat had wanted to work with The Weeknd for a long time, and they finally got together for “You Right,” a track from Doja’s latest album Planet Her. She had originally planned on them working on a different track together, but the “Can’t Feel My Face” singer heard the track for “You Right” and fell in love: “He was obsessed with it….a very good reaction,” Doja said.

“Pray For Me” (Kendrick Lamar)

The two superstars teamed up for the Black Panther soundtrack, which went on to top the Billboard charts. This song marks the second time the two have collaborated; the first was on “Sidewalks” for The Weeknd’s Starboy album.

“Love Me Harder” (Ariana Grande)

This song was the second single off Grande’s sophomore album, My Everything. Producer Max Martin sent The Weeknd a demo of the song, but he wasn’t feeling it. He rewrote his verses, the artists recorded the track, and it quickly became a hit. It peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“One Right Now” (Post Malone)

The Weeknd’s latest collab is with recent hitmaker, Post Malone. The two have been teasing a collaboration for a long time, and they finally delivered with “One Right Now.” It’s also a taste of Malone’s upcoming third album.

“Lust For Life” (Lana Del Rey)

This track is a dreamy, 60s-inspired track; a departure from The Weeknd’s usual sound, but one he fits into well. The two also got together to film a music video where they serenaded each other on top of the Hollywood sign.

“6 Inch” (Beyoncé)

When the pop diva put together her critically acclaimed Lemonade, she called on The Weeknd to lend vocals to “6 Inch.” The song is a fan favorite. With Queen Bey’s stamp of approval, The Weeknd reached complete superstar status.
