He’s adorable, talented, and half of one of music’s hottest couples. And now he has a documentary.

In Wonder, a new documentary about the life of Shawn Mendes, is coming to Netflix on November 23. It will reportedly offer fans an inside look at Mendes’ rocket-like rise to superstardom and how it changed his life.

“This isn’t a story about a famous musician,” Mendes says in the official trailer for In Wonder. “This is a story about a guy growing up.”

The film includes Mendes’ latest tour and a peek at Mendes’ home life. Clips from home movies, professional shots of Mendes performing in packed arenas, and candid interviews all paint a picture of the man behind the massive radio hits.

Many will also be happy to know that Mendes’ sweet girlfriend and fellow popstar Camila Cabello also makes appearances in the film. The In Wonder trailer also includes Mendes’ adorable clip saying “every song (he) ever wrote” is about Cabello.

Mendes’ fourth studio album Wonder will follow just days after the documentary on December 4. So far, he’s released one single from the album, the title track. “Wonder”  is a powerful ballad that takes a hard look at toxic masculinity and what it means to be loved.

But there’s another exciting single on the way, too. On November 20, Mendes will release “Monster,” a collaboration with the one and only Justin Bieber. The two are a musical match made in heaven. Both got their start on YouTube, posting covers before attracting a dedicated following and being discovered by record labels. We can’t wait to hear their duet.

Lastly, although the COVID-19 pandemic put virtually all touring on hold, Mendes announced in October that he’d be performing a series of virtual shows to promote the album. He’s calling it The Wonder Residency, and he’ll be playing songs from Wonder at venues around the U.S. The first segment was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. We’ll be waiting to see where Mendes goes next.
