WILD ABOUT HARRY STYLES

And Harry Adores You Too!

The world fell in love with Harry Styles as a young man with lots of curly hair who sang in a boy band. But he’s kept us falling in love with him over and over again ever since. His newest music has us adoring him more than ever. With his sophomore solo album Fine Line set to drop Friday, we’re taking a look back at the three singles he’s released this year.

Lights Up

The first look we got at Fine Line came in early October. “Lights Up” is a wistful pop-rock song about embracing a sense of self through the darkness. It asks us to take a hard look at ourselves and acknowledge our own sexiness. The music video is a trippy, sensual experience for the senses.

Watermelon Sugar

Before its release, Styles tweeted, “Kiwi walked so Watermelon Sugar could run.” His allusion to the sexiest track on his debut album had us eagerly anticipating the follow-up and it did not disappoint. The funky single talks about all kinds of tastes throughout, and we can’t help but groove along to the sweet blend of a strong baseline and harmonized vocals.

Adore You

Style’s latest release showcases some of his best work. It’s fresh pop and retro rock warped into one song about love and devotion permeated by awesome guitar riffs. But Styles added another layer to the song’s story with its absurdist music video where he teaches an imaginary island population to smile again. As strange as the journey gets, we can’t help but smile, too.
