Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift’s new song “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” was created as the centerpiece of the Fifty Shades Darker movie soundtrack, and it’s appropriately sexy, with a moody unpredictable edge and lots of slinky moves. The much-anticipated “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” video debuts just in time for the movie’s premiere. Tayswif and Zayne have left their tween personas far behind with this one—the song and the video’s compositions are both thoroughly based on situations in the upcoming film. The video opens on a mysterious hotel tryst and by its end, the two are trashing the joint.
“I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” is the first new song from Taylor Swift since 2014’s 1989. Within hours of its release it had shot to the top of the charts.
