British singer FKA Twigs likes to create a kind of performance art vibe on her Instagram feed. One day you’ll see an artsy shot of a woman’s cleavage (we’re assuming its hers) that still bears the marks from a recently removed bra. Another day there’ll be a photo that’s been altered to be appear as if another person’s arm is protruding through FKA Twigs’ chest. There are also photos of her in exotic stage costumes and fantastical makeup. As the singer wrote in one of her posts, “I just like making music and visuals, everything else is either a flattering filter or a man made illusion. I don’t want to be a part of the beauty myth, it’s not helpful to any of us. Go to school, learn an instrument and give up selfies or at least keep the ratio equal to creativity and intelligence lol.”

if only a prayer would make your touch so i’d feel it but i’d be wasting time.
