Many celebrities have been photographed in bed, but only a few serve a taste of the vulnerability reserved for this secretive place. Here, when you hold one silken inch of a lover’s hip between your teeth you possess all the power in the world.
Beds are a complex thing–a place of vulnerability and of comfort, of safety and desire. We hide under them as children, then hide valuables under them when we’re a little older. A few years after that, beds are where we fling our angsty bodies until our hormones normalize, somewhere between a slammed door and an apology. We sleep on them. We f**k on them. We strip, flip, change, and replace them.
And damn if we don’t always come back for more.
