Although Weegee is best known for his bleak shots of New York City crime scenes in the 1930s and ‘40s, he also had an eye for the less gritty, more playful aspects of urban life. This curated collection focuses on the surprisingly erotic shots Weegee captured of women he happened upon as he was lugging his camera around various cities, whether prowling the streets of LA, checking out the scene at a New York bar, or ducking backstage at a New Orleans burlesque show.
