11 FALL SERIES
Utopia, Fargo, The Boys, The Crown +

With the world not returning to normal anytime soon, now is the perfect time to add some different TV shows to your watchlist. The fall lineup is rounding out nicely, and there are 11 shows PROVOKR is excited to sample. Here are suggestions you should try this fall season.
THE BOYS
The second season of Amazon Prime’s The Boys premieres on September 4. Heroes are used as propaganda in this series. Sounds legit.
THE CROWN
Get ready for Princess Diana. Emma Corrin will play Lady Spencer during season 4 of the hit Netflix show. Then, Elizabeth Debicki takes over for the remainder of the series.
FARGO
The FX anthology series Fargo is back. This time, Chris Rock steps into the lead. This season connects the Kansas City mafia with the Jim Crow South.
THE GOOD LORD BIRD
Ethan Hawke stars as abolitionist John Brown in the lead up to the raid on Harpers Ferry. The Showtime series is adapted from a book of the same name.
PATRIA
We know you love shows from Spain, so get ready for Patria. The HBO drama follows two families affected by the ETA terrorist group in Spain.
PEN15
Who knew adults playing middle schoolers could be so funny. The elevated Hulu comedy Pen15 is back for season 2.
RATCHED
Ryan Murphy dominates our screens. His latest venture cast Sarah Paulson as Nurse Ratched from the famed One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
SING ON!
If you’re into reality singing competitions and karaoke, Sing On! is for you. Hosted by Titus Burgess, it pits contestants against each other in an ultimate karaoke game.
UTOPIA
Author Gillian Flynn created and wrote this eight-part Amazon Prime project. Utopia tracks teenagers who meet online and get their hands on an underground comic. They form a cult that has to save the world. Pretty intense, right? Well, that’s Flynn for you.
WE ARE WHO WE ARE
No one handles coming-of-age stories quite like Luca Guadagnino. The queer show We Are Who We Are tells the story of friendship, love and mystery. HBO grabbed this one, and we understand why.
WOKE
Hulu is the go-to place for comedies like the upcoming Woke. Starring New Girl actor Lamorne Morris, the series shows his journey to “wokeness” as a Black man. It’s an excellent perspective and executed creatively.
