2020’s SEXIEST ACTRESSES

TV keeps getting hotter and hotter, and the female representation is on fire. Women like Zendaya, Jurnee Smollett, Issa Rae, and Reese Witherspoon gave us some of the most powerful and sexiest performances of the year. It helped that they all looked damn good doing it. PROVOKR is dishing out the sexiest women on TV in 2020. Enjoy.

ZENDAYA

 

Zendaya has had an undeniable year. From landing blockbuster roles (Dune) to filming with John David Washington during quarantine and, of course, teasing the Euphoria specials, Zendaya has been on our mind throughout 2020. This year, she became the youngest person to win Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Euphoria, beating the previous record-holder, Jodie Comer.

HUNTER SCHAFER

 

Zendaya’s co-star Hunter Schafer was one of the breakout performers from the hit HBO series. With the first of Euphoria’s special episodes debuting December 6, she will undoubtedly steal every scene.

JURNEE SMOLLETT

 

Jurnee Smollett had us mesmerized every Sunday as Jonathan Majors’ co-star in HBO’s Lovecraft Country. The beauty is one of 2020’s breakout stars, though she has been acting for the better part of a decade. We hope to see her heating up our screens for years. 

LILI REINHART

 

Riverdale is one of the sexiest shows on cable TV, and Lili Reinhart is one reason why. 2020 has been her year, as she also starred in the streaming movie Chemical Hearts and continued to raise awareness for mental health.

JODIE COMER

 

Killing Eve is always at the top of our binge list. Jodie Comer is even hotter in season three of the BBC series. From fashion to kicking ass and flirting with Sandra Oh, we cannot get enough of Comer.

ISSA RAE

 

Issa Rae doesn’t just have insane sex in HBO’s Insecure. She’s the show’s creator and producer. Rae is doing it all, and her career is just taking off. She also led two romantic movies this year: The Photograph and The Lovebirds.

REESE WITHERSPOON

 

Reese Witherspoon still dominates TV. She is creating a powerful series for and about women. This year it was the sexy thriller Little Fires Everywhere, and Witherspoon was oh-so-hot.

ZOE KRAVITZ

 

When you’re the daughter of two of the hottest people on Earth, you’re automatically blessed. Zoe Kravitz has truly made a name for herself, especially with her scene-stealing performance in Big Little Lies. This year she went to Hulu for the High Fidelity adaptation. Now she’s filming The Batman alongside Robert Pattinson. We are jealous.

MAYA HAWKE

 

We have residual Maya Hawke love. Though she didn’t have a TV show in 2020, she captivated us in Stranger Things last year. Last year, she took the time to focus on her music, and we can’t wait to see what she has planned for 2021.

JULIA GARNER

 

Ozark. Need we say more? Yes, because Julia Garner is on her way to superstardom. The intriguing actress had one hell of a year after winning her second Emmy for her role as Ruth in the Netflix series. She also led the Oscar-contending film The Assistant.

KERRY WASHINGTON

Kerry Washington never ceases to amaze. The former Scandal actress was the co-lead of Little Fires Everywhere, delivering one of the year’s best performances. Thankfully for us, she has other upcoming projects that we cannot wait to see her in. Hollywood, please, give us more of these women!
