BACK TO BREAKING BAD
Returning to Jesse's World in 'El Camino'

The legendary series Breaking Bad is making a smash return with a new movie centered on the character Jesse Pinkman titled El Camino. Aaron Paul plays the returned protagonist in this drama which takes place after Walter White, the protagonist of the former series’ death. Jesse is a run away evading the law and living his life after his stash of meth has been depleted. El Camino has a solemn tone which lends to the severity of the subject matter presented in the film.
We begin where Jesse arrives at the house of his old drug dealers Skinny Pete and Badger to cleanse himself from the experience of working as an abused meth cook for criminals. Then, we get a montage of events of Jesse Pinkman as he reinvents his life and tries to gain some self-reflection after his troubling ordeal. The film is produced and distributed by Netflix and features some of the same stars as the show Breaking Bad had before (i.e. Charles Baker as Skinny Pete and Mike Jones as Badger). The movie looks like its promising us an intense look at the Breaking Bad world we all know and love. The color contrast from the trailer looked great and the scenes were well directed. Vince Gilligan is writing and directing this project, so we should get a lot of the same quality we’ve expected with Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad.
Take a look at the gritty trailer here and get transported into that wonderful world of crime, drugs, and suspense that made Breaking Bad hold our attention for 5 seasons. Moreover, expect new twists and turns as this new trailer features the voice of a mysterious figure at the end, who could be the ghost of Walter White. PROVOKR is excited for El Camino and sees this trailer and a preemptive smash hit.
