Barry Hits Back
Bill Hader's New HBO Comedy is Killer

Former Not Ready for Primetime Player, Bill Hader, still makes the occasional appearance on his old show, Saturday Night Live—most recently as Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci. But the last couple of years we’ve actually heard from this versatile actor more than seen him. He’s voice work has been featured in animated greats like Bob’s Burgers, Inside Out, The Awesomes, South Park, and Finding Dory.
This month, Hader is taking the lead in the new comedy series, Barry, on HBO. Created and written by Hader and Alec Berg, Barry is about a low-key midwestern hitman with no excitement in his life. While visiting Los Angeles for a hit job, he accidentally lands in an acting class filled with a bunch of LA characters and led by the hilarious Henry Winkler. Soon he finds the love and community he’s been lacking in his murderously mundane existence and decides to quit the business. Of course, his wise-guy bosses don’t love that idea and Barry has to learn to learn to balance his killer day-job with his passion for acting.
Barry starts on HBO, March 25th.
