We are just like everybody else because we love true crime. There is something about it that just gets the adrenaline pumping. Whether its podcasts, books or TV series, we can’t get enough. But one of the best ways to get your fill is a movie marathon. Next time you want to explore the minds of killers and mobsters, check out these eight titles:

BONNIE AND CLYDE

They were the most notorious bank robbers in history, so of course a movie was made about them. Faye Dunaway and Warren Beaty portray the love ridden bad guys, and their charisma and chemistry is enthralling. This 1967 classic is one you’ll want to watch again and again. Bonnie and Clyde is available on Netflix.

MOLLY’S GAME

Aaron Sorkin brought the memoir of Molly Bloom, a skier who started a high-stakes gambling ring, to the big screen. Jessica Chastain’s performance as the jaded, vengeful Molly is one for the ages as she navigates Molly’s life of becoming an FBI target. The story is crazy, but it’s one you’ll never forget. Molly’s Game is available to stream on Showtime.

THE UNTOUCHABLES

Robert De Niro as Al Capone is one of the most legendary performances ever, but the story of The Untouchables follows Elliot Ness (played by a convincing Kevin Costner) and his elite team’s goal to take down one of the most notorious gangsters of all time. It features the always-talented Sean Connery, who steals the show in one of the most iconic scenes in cinema. The 1987 film is available on Amazon Prime.

ZODIAC

David Fincher knows how to direct crime series. Zodiac follows the San Francisco Chronicle as they investigate a series of killings in the Bay Area. It stars Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr. and Jake Gyllenhaal one year before the current Marvel Cinematic Universe was born. Now, that’s a throwback. The 2007 film is available on Netflix.

BADLANDS

Terrence Malik writes and directs this twisted tale of a couple that kills people in the Badlands of South Dakota. Martin Sheen stars as the older, greaser boy who meets an impressionable, young teenager played by Sissy Spacek. Just like Bonnie and Clyde, their relationship will reel you in and keep you hooked. Badlands is available to stream on Amazon Prime.

IN COLD BLOOD

Truman Capote is the father of literary journalism because of the way he wrote about the murders and murderers of the Clutter family. The film of the same name was shot in black and white and in the house where the murders took place. Talk about real-life creepy. In Cold Blood is available on Amazon Prime.

MONSTER

South African beauty Charlize Theron is almost unrecognizable as Aileen Wuornos in the Patty Jenkins film Monster. Wuornos’ story starts out with her as a prostitute who then starts a killing spree in Daytona Beach, Florida. It’s rare to see a woman at the center of a true crime narrative, which makes Monster so special. Monster is available to stream on Vudu.

GOODFELLAS

GoodFellas is regarded as Martin Scorseses’ best work — and he didn’t even win an Oscar for it. The Italian mob-focused film follows Henry Hill (Ray Liota) and his partners Jimmy Conway (Robert De Niro) and Tommy DeVito (Joe Pesci). It’s a wild ride, and one you won’t regret taking. GoodFellas is available on Amazon Prime.
