After nabbing a bronze medal in the 100 meter sprint at the Rio Games, 21-year-old Canadian track and field star Andre De Grasse (the youngest competitor in the race) received the ultimate compliment from the fastest man in the world—Jamaican phenom Usain Bolt—who had just outpaced De Grasse to earn his latest gold medal. Bolt told De Grasse he saw a lot of himself in the Canadian and predicted a golden future for the youngster. “He feels like I’m the next one and I’m just trying to live up to it,” De Grasse said. By capturing the bronze, De Grasse became the first Canadian man to win a medal at this year’s Olympics.
