In the wake of the the star-laden True Detective series, the cable juggernaut has finally realized that a miniseries is the best way to acquire big names with small windows of availability. Starring Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley (with Alexander Skarsgård and Laura Dern supporting), Big Little Lies might be the network’s biggest Hollywood casting heist yet.

Based on the Liane Moriarty book of the same name, Big Little Lies centers around three Monterey mothers whose seemingly picture-perfect lives are quickly revealed to be nothing but. And while the overall quality of the show is still unknown, it’s sexiness is not–Witherspoon, Kidman, Woodley and Skarsgård guarantee that much.
