CONFRONTING A SERIAL KILLER
A Reporter makes a deal with the Devil

Sam Little killed at least 93 women — at least those are the one he confessed to before his death on December 30, 2020. He went down in history as the most prolific serial killer of all time. And before his death, journalist Jillian Lauren worked to identify all of his victims.

The new Starz series Confronting a Serial Killer follows Lauren as she uncovers the identities of Sam Little’s heinous crimes. Lauren was able to gain unparalleled access to Little and get inside the brain of the killer. It’s an almost symbiotic relationship: you give me what I want, and you’ll get what you want. Lauren clearly explains this in the trailer: “You won’t die alone if you tell me the truth.” Then, she makes another statement: “If you weren’t locked up right now, I’d probably be dead.” To that, Little agrees.
The series comes from true crime master Joe Berlinger, whose filmography includes an insane amount of true crime. (If you thought you were a true crime fan…) His directing credits include Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (starring Zac Efron as Ted Bundy) and its companion piece, The Ted Bundy Tapes. His first major project was the 1996 HBO documentary Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills.

With the pedigree behind this true crime series, you’re bound to love it, PROVOKRs. It airs weekly starting April 18.
