NORMAL PEOPLE
The leading man of Hulu’s Normal People, Paul Mescal, earned himself a nomination for the Sally Rooney adaptation. The Irish series follows two people from the last months of high school through college in this hot and heavy drama. You won’t want to turn this one off.
KILLING EVE
Killing Eve season three picked up six Emmy nods this year. Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh heat up our screens year after year. We can’t get enough of their seductive cat and mouse game.
EUPHORIA
HBO’s Euphoria barely missed the deadline for Emmy contention last year, but the TV academy didn’t forget about the teen drama. With Zendaya, Hunter Schaffer, Jacob Elordi and a beautiful supporting cast, Euphoria was easily the hottest show of the summer in 2019.
POSE
Pose got hotter for season two, but it only grabbed two Emmy nominations this year. Billy Porter is up for his role as Pray Tell and the makeup department is getting some much-deserved recognition. But it’s the trans talent in the ballroom series that makes this show so sexy.
INSECURE
Issa Rae is bae — and she has lots of baes on the HBO hit. The steamy, can’t-look-away series has been around for four seasons and the TV academy is finally giving it some much-needed attention. It earned eight nominations (probably because it’s so sexy).
WATCHMEN
HBO’s Watchmen is hot and provocative, which makes it a legendary series. Regina King is a seductive masked vigilante leading a group of outlaws tackling white supremacy. The premise is well-developed and could lead it to take home the most Emmys. After all, it is nominated for 20 golden statues. Happy bingeing, PROVOKRs.
