LUCAS LYNGGAARD TØNNESEN – THE RAIN (DENMARK)
Hailing from Denmark, The Rain is a post-apocalyptic story. And at the helm of it is the young actor Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen. The netflix series is his biggest project to date, but he is working on a couple short films, so prepare yourself for that.
MATILDA DE ANGELIS – THE UNDOING (ITALY)
The Undoing is a new hit show on HBO starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant, but Italian actress Matilda de Angelis steals every scene. I mean, she literally walks up to Kidman’s character naked in the middle of a gym. Get ready to see more of her in the U.S. because she’s going to appear in the star-studded Leonardo.
RICHARD MADDEN – BODYGUARD, GAME OF THRONES (UK)
Oh, how we miss the early seasons of Game of Thrones. Mostly because Richard Madden was our favorite star on screen. But he made a name for himself outside the series in his award-winning role on Bodyguard. The British actor will perform in the upcoming series Citadel along with Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
GAIA WEISS – LA RÉVOLUTION, VIKINGS (FRANCE)
Some may know Gaia Weiss from Vikings, but the French actress helds a major role in the new Netflix series La Révolution. The horror twist on the French Revolution allows Weiss to show off her sultry skills.
RAY PANTHAKI – MARCELLA, GANGS OF LONDON, AWAY (UK)
One look at Ray Panthaki’s filmography will make your head spin. Just this year, the British actor has starred in Marcella, Gangs of London and Away with Hillary Swank. Not to mention he often acts alongside Kiera Knightley in films like Collette and Official Secrets.

The Boys is one of the most popular series on streaming right now. Its all-star cast is led by the New Zealand hottie Karl Urban. After having a steady career in film having starred in the Star Trek franchise, Urban made his way to TV for the Amazon Prime series. He is top-notch in The Boys. Season two hit the service this summer, so watch up.
VOLKER BRUCH – BABYLON BERLIN (GERMANY)
German actor Volker Bruch plays one-half of the crime-fighting duo in the neo-noir series Babylon Berlin. His rugged persona is matched with his detective career as he battles personal and physical struggles.
LIV LISA FRIES – BABYLON BERLIN (GERMANY)
Then, there’s the other half, played by Liv Lisa Fries. Her role on Babylon Berlin catapulted her into mainstream success, and thank god. She’s one of the best. Season three just dropped on Netflix earlier this year, so indulge in some much-needed Babylon Berlin.
