Lexi Underwood plays Pearl Warren, the daughter of Kerry Washington’s character. She conveys perfectly the feelings of moving to a new school and wanting to fit in, but her personality remains unchanged. Lexi Underwood has appeared in guest roles on shows like Raven’s Home, The Good Doctor and Criminal Minds, but we have a feeling she’ll get a lot more exposure following Little Fires Everywhere.
JADE PETTYJOHN
Jade Pettyjohn might be a little more familiar to you. She has had recurring roles on The Last Ship and School of Rock and also starred in movies like Destroyer and Deadwood. The 19-year-old actress plays Lexie, one of Reese Witherspoon’s four children. Her role is that of the entitled rich girl who doesn’t know she’s privileged. You recognize she wants to do right by her friends, but she just doesn’t do what’s right. The portrayal makes for a captivating performance and one that shows maintaining a perfect image is difficult.
JORDAN ELSASS
Similarly, Jordan Elsass’ character, Trip, is a handsome jock who uses his assets and charm to his benefit. He also plays one of Reese Witherspoon’s children. His dickish behavior is only masking the true feelings underneath, and he’s starting to realize a person’s high school reputation isn’t everything. Jordan Elsass has some projects in the pipeline, including a TV series titled Superman and Lois, so you will definitely be seeing more of him in the coming months.
GAVIN LEWIS
Little Fires Everywhere marks Gavin Lewis’ first major series not-for-children. Prior to the show, he appeared in small guest roles and starred in the Netflix children’s series Prince of Peoria. In Little Fires Everywhere, Gavin Lewis plays Moody, one of Reese Witherspoon’s middle children. He epitomizes that stereotypical performance but in the best way.
MEGAN SCOTT
Megan Scott’s character is panning out to be the most important. The youngest of the family, she plays the angsty, rebellious Izzy. She cuts her hair to look like Drew Barrymore, goes behind her mother’s back and refuses to follow the elite’s social norms. She also has the most compelling arc — a teen who wants to be accepted but struggles with her sexuality. Megan Scott has acting chops well beyond her years, so watch out for this one. She’s going to be a star.
