Woody Allen’s first major TV project, Crisis in Six Scenes, is a romantic comedy set in the 1960s. Allen and Elaine May play a suburban couple whose lives get upended by the arrival of an outspoken hippie played by Miley Cyrus. “I don’t dislike you… just everything that you stand for,” says Cyrus’s character to Allen’s typically uptight alter ego. Although the project had been kept top secret while in production, the show reportedly will contain plenty of Allen-esque hallmarks like improvised dialogue and physical comedy.

Crisis in Six Scenes premieres on Amazon Video on September 30th.
