Stranger Things 4 + Dominating The Internet
Of the main cast on Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things, one person has risen above the sci-fi drama: Millie Bobby Brown. The 17-year-old British actress will reprise her role as Eleven in Stranger Things 4, which just dropped a first-look tease.
In the teaser, we’re back in the national laboratory from which Eleven escaped in season one. Back in action is Matthew Modine’s Dr. Martin Brenner (aka Papa). As he says, “Eleven, are you listening?” her eyes pop open. We also see a number seven, which could hint at the return of the Chicago crew from the end of season 2.
All of the cast is back for the upcoming season, including David Harbour, confirmed alive in a special clip released last year. (Let’s hope he gets to love Winona Ryder some more). Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, and Joseph Quinn will join the cast as recurring characters.
As for Brown, she has shown no signs of stopping since Stranger Things 3. On top of being named one of the most influential people in Time 100, becoming the youngest UNICEF Global Ambassador, and launching her beauty brand, Florence by mills, Brown was the main character in Netflix’s Enola and Holmes. Starring Henry Cavill, Sherlock Holmes’ daughter tries to find her missing mother. On top of that, she reprised her role in the Godzilla franchise with the blockbuster hit Godzilla vs. Kong.
Along with the release of Stranger Things 4, Brown has two upcoming films: The Girls I’ve Been and The Thing About Jellyfish. She is top-billed so far on these dramatic projects, so expect a colossal film boom in her career.
Brown is joining the long list of child actors, but she just might become one of the most major ones of this generation. As she enters the film scene, we should expect to see her more — and that’s something that makes us happy.
