One Of Us Is Lying is a new teen mystery-drama show that will air exclusively on Peacock. It’s based on the 2017 young adult novel of the same name by Karen M. McManus.

The show is based at Bayview High School, where Simon Kelleher, Nate Macauley, Bronwyn Rojas, Addy Prentiss, and Cooper Clay attend. The five of them get detention, but only four walk out alive, leaving everyone wondering what happened in detention. The series follows the four surviving individuals present at the crime scene and shows how detectives and students alike try to solve the case for what happened to Simon (and how everyone thinks the core four are lying, in case that wasn’t clear). Think of it as The Breakfast Club, but with death and drama like no other.

The show is filled with tons of new talent. They include Marianly Tejada (The Purge series), Chibuikem Uche (The Tomorrow War), Cooper van Grootel (User Not Found), Annalisa Cochrane (Cobra Kai), Mark Mckenna, Barrett Carnahan, Melissa Collazo, Jessica McLeod, Sara Thompson, Karim Diane, Hugo Ateo, Alimi Ballard, Ali Liebert, Purva Bedi, and George Ferrier.

The series is directed by John Scott (You, American Horror Story) and Jennifer Morrison (Glee), and Dario Madrona, who co-created Netflix’s original series, Elite.

It premieres on October 7, so be sure to subscribe to Peacock, if you haven’t already, to tune in! The first three episodes will drop on the initial release date, and then the next three will be released on October 14, with the final two streaming on October 21.

We’re so excited for this show—anyone who loved Pretty Little Liars, or Gossip Girl is sure to feel the same. Check out the trailer below:
