Reality dating shows are hot topics of conversation. You might not be willing to admit just how much you love them, which makes watching them real guilty pleasures. We’ve come a long way from shows like The Bachelor that mostly offer PG-like content. (The franchise rarely even mentions sex.) Now, reality dating shows are as sexy as the hottest drama. Check out these four shows that turn contestants and us on.

TOO HOT TO HANDLE

Who would think that Netflix would produce addictive reality programming? (Hello, lovers of The Circle.) Too Hot To Handle puts “serial swipers” on an island with a talking cone named Lana, who dishes out the rules of summer affairs. There is a cash prize of $100,000. But that pot gets smaller every time contestants kiss or engage in sexual acts. The intent is to build more lasting relationships, but not everyone follows the rules. There are secret shower sessions, undercover blow jobs plus a hidden love nest that some couples can enjoy. It’s a full-on riot worth every minute.

LOVE IS BLIND

Before Too Hot To Handle was Love Is Blind. This four-part experiment hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey separated the men and women. During the first round, people connect in pods where they can’t see with whom they are talking. In a matter of days, couples that connect get engaged. They take a romantic vacation, move-in together then prepare for a wedding. It’s crazy, sexy and binge-able.

LOVE ISLAND

The late Caroline Flack hosts Love Island (UK), an addicting reality series that puts 10 single people on an island and forces them to pair up. New faces appear every few episodes to shake up the competitive landscape. Most of the time, the couples are sunbathing, crushing watermelons with their butts, oh, and having sex. All of the action plays out before the cameras. The thirty-part series airs six nights a week. That’s an insane amount of TV.

EX ON THE BEACH

MTV has ruled reality TV. Its series Ex on the Beach takes the dating narrative and incorporates the contestants’ exes into it. It makes it hard for people to move on with life while participating in the show. People wander in and out of the house unannounced, which adds an element of unpredictability and makes it worth watching.
