Sandra Oh is taking on yet another series (and once again, she’s the star of the show!). After being a part of popular shows such as Grey’s Anatomy and Killing Eve, it’s pretty clear she enjoys keeping herself busy.

With 88 acting credits, Oh is starring in Netflix’s new six-episode dramedy series, The Chair. The Chair stars Oh as Dr. Ji-Yoon Kim, the first woman of color to become the chair at a major university, and her struggles with trying “to meet the dizzying demands and high expectations of a failing English department.” Oh will star alongside Bob Balaban, Everly Carganilla, Ron Crawford, Marcia DeBonis, Jay Duplass, Ji-yong Lee, Mallory Low, Nana Mensah, Frank Sanns, Bob Stephenson, and Holland Taylor. It’s set to premiere on the streaming service on August 20.

The Chair has quite the lineup of executive producers. Not only is Oh an executive producer, but so is the legendary Game of Thrones’s crew, D.B. Weiss, David Benioff, and Bernadette Caulfield. Along with them are director Daniel Gray Longino, known for his work on PEN15 and Portlandia, and first-time producer Amanda Peet. Peet also wrote the show, along with the help of Annie Wyman. So even though the end of GOT may have been, well, a choice, we know that with the combination of all of their skills and talents that The Chair is set to be a likely unforgettable series.

In an interview with The LA Times’ Asain Enough podcast, Oh revealed she’s not returning to Grey’s Anatomy but that she’s excited to continue Killing Eve and The Chair. She shared that “the characters that [she’s] playing [in Killing Eve and The Chair] are much more deeply integrated into [her] Asian American experience,” so we’re eager to see her take on that role in The Chair!

Here’s the sneak peek Netflix released for the show–go ahead and take a look at the comments while you’re at it to see Oh’s massive fanbase, and understand why we’re so excited for the series:

So far, the sneak peek is most of what we know about the show, but Netflix also tweeted a fake news clip instead of a trailer in May, so be sure to check it out in preparation for the series. So let the countdown to August 20 begin! (Note: the news clipping says Oh will take on her role August 27, but the sneak peek trailer says August 20…so we’re going with August 20!)
