Sarah Shahi is So Sexy
The L Word to Sex/Life and In Between

Sarah Shahi has been in many shows and movies, such as The L Word, Life, Person of Interest, Alias, and Chicago Fire, but this may be her hottest summer yet. If her name still doesn’t ring a bell yet–haven’t you watched Sex/Life? Yeah, that’s who we’re talking about; the infamous Billie Connelly.
Shahi got her start in 2000 as an extra in a movie. Since then, she’s acted in 63 series and films. She credits her career taking off to Showtime’s The L Word. The series revolved around a close group of gay women in Los Angeles, working through the trials and tribulations of their day-to-day lives. She played fan-favorite Carmen de la Pica Morales and next month she will reprise her role in The L Word reboot, The L Word: Generation Q.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Shahi said: “[The L Word] was my first big gig. And to be a part of that, I don’t think I ever really knew what I was stepping into until after and I started speaking with women and getting letters. Just the amount of information that was sent my way about how impactful it was, it put me on this thing where it’s like, everything I want to do from now on, I want it to have meaning and I want it to touch people.”
Her career has recently taken off once again thanks to Netflix’s hit series Sex/Life, where she plays the role of a housewife who can’t choose between her past and present selves and lovers. In the series, she acts alongside Australian actor Adam Demos, and because of their off and on-screen connection, the pair are now dating in real life. In an Instagram post for his birthday, she wrote a lengthy caption for Demos, stating that the pair were destined to meet. Part of the caption reads, “Not exactly sure how two people on opposite sides of the world could have more in common, were meant to meet, were meant to be together. But I do know I met my soulmate. I do know I found my forever. I do know I’ve never loved deeper, harder, more ferociously. I do know I’m overly grateful for him. I do know I’ve loved him for a thousand lifetimes before and will love him for a thousand lifetimes more.”

We sincerely hope that things continue to go well for the self-proclaimed soulmates because we know that this means the next season of Sex/Life will be even more risqué, sexy, and exciting. We also can’t wait to see what else Shahi has up her sleeve, and we’re anxiously awaiting more.
