We never condone cheating in a relationship unless it’s an open one. At that point, it’s not cheating. But you have to admit that maybe you’ve fantasized about taking a lover and engaging in a steamy affair. That is the foundation of some of our favorite films and shows. This erotic thriller is considered the best film about infidelity. Richard Gere and Diane Lane are the primary couple, but when she meets a young Frenchman, Olivier Martinez, she participates in an adulterous fling.

If someone approached you and offered you one million dollars for a night with your significant other, would you agree? That’s the premise of this 1993 Adrian Lyne film starring Robert Redford, Demi Moore, and Woody Harrelson. Let’s say Moore rolling around in all of that money is an image that has stuck with us.

You know, sometimes it’s fun for the person being cheated on to join in the fun. It may be an ideal situation. That’s what happens in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, starring Scarlett Johansson, Rebbeca Hall, Penélope Cruz, and Javier Bardem.

Ang Lee’s moving film Brokeback Mountain documents the affair of two cowboys in the mountains of Wyoming. Their love never ends, even after they marry others. Jake Gyllenhaal, Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams, and Anne Hathaway are amazing.

Lesbians get the same treatment in Disobedience. Rachel Weisz and Rachel Macadams star as two Orthodox Jews who have to hide their love for one another. It includes some of the most scandalous sex scenes you’ll ever see on screen.

Well, when your brother is Brad Pitt, it can be hard to keep the ladies away.
