STEAMY STREAMING: SERIES
The Shows With The Biggest Twists

Nothing beats a nice, thrilling TV show — especially when it’s filled with the biggest twists and turns. With so much media to consume, it’s hard to be surprised anymore. But there are a handful of shows that still managed to keep us on our toes.
YOU
This Lifetime-turned-Netflix drama starring Penn Badgely as a psychopathic stalker had the whole internet freaking out. Just when you thought he couldn’t get crazier, Joe (Badgely) managed to jump his girlfriend’s BFF in a park. Then it was even crazier when he (SPOILER ALERT) killed said girlfriend. Like, what?!
WESTWORLD
Who are really the hosts on Westworld? It seems we never really know. The season one revelation was that Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) is a host and modeled after Dr. Ford (Anthony Hopkins)’s friend and the co-founder of the park. If anyone tells you they saw that coming, don’t believe them. They just want to seem cool.
GAME OF THRONES
Oh, man. It’s hard to know where to start with this one. Maybe we start with the most-recent shock: the death of Daenerys (Emilia Clarke). If she had to die, it’s not really surprising that Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) did it, but it is shocking that she died in the first place. Everyone expected her to sit on the Iron Throne.
AMERICAN HORROR STORY
Nothing beats American Horror Story’s first season reveal that Tessa Farmiga’s character is actually dead. None of the other seasons have quite lived up to Murder House, and it’s mostly because of that huge twist.
THE L WORD
The death of Jenny (Mia Kirshner) was insane. No one saw that coming. What’s even more shocking the series ended with no one finding out who murdered her. Maybe when Showtime‘s The L Word: Generation Q returns, we’ll finally find out. Fingers crossed.
