Hannibal Lecter has already gotten the franchise treatment. Now it’s Clarice Starling’s turn for a sequel. The FBI agent made famous by Jodie Foster in the Best Picture-winning The Silence of the Lambs is finally a TV series.

The crime drama aptly titled Clarice picks up about a year after her takedown of Buffalo Bill. As she returns to the field, she must deal with inner demons and prevent other zombies from doing damage in the real world.

To date, all The Silence of the Lambs spin-offs have centered on the cannibalistic serial killer Hannibal Lecter whom Clarice goes to for psychological advice about murderers. Famous for rarely blinking in the 1991 film, Anthony Hopkins played the original Hannibal Lecter. Since then, there’s Hannibal, the movie Hannibal Rising and Hannibal, the series starring Mads Mikkelsen in the lead role.

Thirty years later, The Silence of the Lambs’ Clarice is getting her time in the spotlight. Playing the iconic agent is Rebecca Breeds. The series will be Breeds’ first starring role. She played Klaus’ love interest Aurora de Martel on The Originals, a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries. Based on the new trailer — watch it by clicking on the image above — Breeds nails, the accent Foster was famous for in the film.

If the show is as gory as the movie, we recommend eating dinner first — unless you’re having your friend for dinner. In that case, you might enjoy Clarice a little too much.

Clarice premieres on CBS All-Access on February 11.
