SOPHIE TURNER IN SURVIVE
The Queen Of The North Returns

The Queen of the North has found her next venture, and it doesn’t involve slaying enemies. Sophie Turner stars in Survive, a Quibi original set to premiere April 6 when the streaming platform launches.
The series follows Jane (Turner), a woman who is about to get out of a halfway home. She’s set to return to her true home, but she has no intention of doing that according to the thrilling trailer. Instead, she heads to the airplane bathroom with her medications in hand. She full intends on dying by suicide, but a plane crash interrupts. As Jane is tossed around, she is knocked unconscious and wakes up on a snow-capped mountain. The only other person there is Paul (Corey Hawkins). Together they have to survive and find their way home.

Sophie Turner hasn’t done much since Game of Thrones ended, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been in the spotlight. It was announced she and husband Joe Jonas are expecting their first child, and she has been extremely active on Instagram since going into quarantine during the COVID-19 outbreak. As for Survive, we know she will rule.
The “movie in parts” is part of the new roll out for Quibi, a bite-sized streaming platform designed for your phone. Each part has a runtime of 10 minutes or less, leaving you with plenty of time to consume many episodes. The platform’s star-studded debut provides insight for the future of streaming, which will be even more mobile going forward.
“I’m going to continue to believe, and argue, and preach that Quibi is not a substitute or a competitor for television,” founder Jeffrey Katzenberg told Vanity Fair. “(Quibi) is exclusively about what you do from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on your phone. And what you’re doing today, if you’re in our core demographic of 25- to 35-year-olds, is you’re actually watching 60-70 min of YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. That growth is now a well-established consumer habit that Quibi is sailing into.”
So if you’re looking for a place to start with Quibi, we recommend Survive. It’s sure to satisfy your Sophie Turner needs.
