Cary Joji Fukunaga enlisted the help of Stone and Jonah Hill for his time-ambiguous drug drama Maniac. In the drug trial, Stone and Hill go on many psychological trips to understand who they are.

Stone garnered her first Oscar nomination for Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance). The Alejandro G. Iñárritu project paints a gripping portrait of depression and addiction.

Stone secured her Oscar win for Damien Chazelle’s musical masterpiece La La Land. She starred opposite Ryan Gosling in the jazz-infused romance.

PROVOKRs absolute favorite is this zany period drama about Queen Anne. In it, Stone, Olivia Colman and Rachel Weisz are caught in a love and power triangle. As a woman, you have to fight your way to the top — and that’s what Stone does.

CRAZY, STUPID, LOVE
Of her rom-com era, there are two go-to movies: Easy A and Crazy, Stupid, Love. In the latter, she is part of an impressive ensemble featuring Steve Carrell, Ryan Gosling and Julianne Moore.

BATTLE OF THE SEXES
In their second film together, Stone and Steve Carrell play famed tennis players Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs. It documents the real-life tennis match the two played in Riggs’ attempt to gain notoriety again.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
Stone found herself in a superhero movie. She starred alongside her then-boyfriend Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise as Gwen Stacy. Her performance is iconic and the chemistry between her and Garfield is undeniable.
