STEAMY STREAMING: FIERCEST MCU
7 Sexy Actresses Play Marvel Super Women

Most of the characters in Marvel movies are men. There is no denying that. But in recent years, the women have really broken the glass ceiling and made their way to the forefront of some killer Marvel movies. From Halle Berry to Scarlett Johansson, here are the seven fiercest performances from the leading ladies:
BRIE LARSON – CAPTAIN MARVEL
As the first female-led MCU movie, Brie Larson stepped into the role of Captain Marvel. The origin film set in the ’90s was a perfect way to introduce Carol Danvers and set her up for some Phase Four guru. We can’t wait.
ZOE SALDANA – GAMORA
Zoe Saldana’s Gamora played a pivotal role in the finale of the Avengers portion of the MCU, but we really got to know her in Guardians of the Galaxy. She definitely knows how to keep Star Lord in check.
LUPITA NYONG’O, DANAI GURIRA + LETITIA WRIGHT IN BLACK PANTHER
The women of Black Panther kicked so much ass that we struggled to put just one of them in here. Lupita Nyong’o brought the starpower. Danai Gurira brought the sass. And Letitia Wright made us laugh with her wit. This is a perfect trifecta.
HALLE BERRY – STORM
It can’t get much hotter with Halle Berry as Storm. For her, we recommend going back to the beginning with X-Men and watching through Days of Future Past. Berry appears in four X-Men films, and it is truly wonderful.
SOPHIE TURNER – DARK PHOENIX
After Game of Thrones, Sophie Turner took on the role of Dark Phoenix in the fiery superhero’s standalone film. It’s a dark and twisted tale in which Turner is amazing. Watch on HBO Max.
ELIZABETH OLSEN – SCARLET WITCH
Elizabeth Olsen is prepping for her Scarlet Witch series on Disney+, but we especially loved getting to know her in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Her wicked moves and dynamic arc make for one hell of a character.
SCARLETT JOHANSSON – BLACK WIDOW
ScarJo has given us one of the strongest performances from a woman in the MCU. Though we have to wait another year to see Black Widow’s origin story, we recommend you watch her gut-wrenching performance in Avengers: Endgame on Disney+.
