MOLLY’S GAME

This Aaron Sorkin project combines his frantic, fast-paced writing style with a jaw-dropping plot. Idris Elba plays a fictionalized version of her skeptical lawyer in a fantastic performance.

Idris Elba is not only a movie star, but he has also appeared on TV. In Luther, he is the main character, a detective who uses immoral tactics to get what he wants. Even those who enforce the law face temptation.

THE WIRE

Speaking of TV series, Idris Elba also played drug lord Stringer Bell in HBO’s The Wire. The series shows how people in Baltimore interacted within the drug scene, including the dealers and police officers. The 2002 series ran for five seasons, so take advantage of all the episodes to binge.

Pacific Rim has somewhat of a cult following. The Guillermo del Toro-directed film pits sea robots against humans. Yes, it is as crazy as it sounds. You are in good hands with Idris Elba starring in this movie. Enjoy, PROVOKR-lovers.
