Patricia Arquette has had a long Hollywood career. Her 30-year filmography covers TV shows, films, documentaries and more. Her more recent fans might know her better from her TV work, Arquette started in film. PROVOKR is here to dish out its favorites from the dynamic actress:

THE ACT

Arquette’s portrayal of Dee Dee Blanchard earned her a Golden Globe and Emmy. You’ve likely heard her story in the documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest, but this dramatization of the bonkers tale is something else.

The Act is available on Hulu.

ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA

We know you love a good prison series. Escape at Dannemora tells the real story of a prison worker (Arquette) who falls in love with two inmates (Benicio del Toro, Paul Dano) and helps them escape. She also won a Golden Globe for this limited series.

Escape at Dannemora is available on Showtime.

TRUE ROMANCE

We covered Christian Slater for Steamy Streaming last week, so it was natural to write about Arquette this week. She’s the other half of the crazy duo in the wild True Romance.

True Romance is available on Starz.

LOST HIGHWAY

Arquette and Bill Pullman star as a couple framed for murder in this David Lynch neo-noir thriller. Arquette plays dual roles, making her hard to miss in the captivating film.

Lost Highway is available to rent on Amazon Prime.

BOYHOOD

Boyhood broke boundaries with its 12-year film production schedule. Arquette plays the mother of the protagonist, Mason, who David Linklater filmed over that prolonged period. She won an Oscar for her stellar performance.

Boyhood is available to rent on Amazon Prime.

ED WOOD

Tim Burton directs this biopic about film director Ed Wood. It’s confusing, I know. Arquette plays Kathy O’Hara in a dynamite portrayal.

Ed Wood is available to rent on Amazon Prime.

BEYOND RANGOON

Arquette is amazing in biopics, and for this one, she plays a woman who loses her passport in Burma. She finds herself on a bloody journey with a group of students who lead her to Thailand. This throwback is a great addition to any Arquette marathon. Happy viewing, PROVOKRs.

Beyond Rangoon is available to rent on Amazon Prime.
