Robert Pattinson is everywhere. Since Twilight, the British actor has distinguished himself in indie films and goes above and beyond in his performances. With his performance as The Batman coming in 2021 — along with some other big-ticket films — R-Pat is someone we can’t get enough of, so here are Pattinson’s films you should see ASAP

GOOD TIME

Before the Safdie brothers raised heart rates with Uncut Gems, they put together this insane thriller with Pattinson in the lead role. He plays a man who races across New York City to get his brother out of jail.

Good Time is available on Netflix.

THE LIGHTHOUSE

Suppose you want to opt for the bizarre Robert Eggers’ drunken narrative about two lighthouse keepers (Pattinson, Willem Dafoe). Pattinson was famously drunk throughout filming to make his character seem more natural. Unfortunately, there weren’t any real mermaids to fuck.

The Lighthouse is available on Amazon Prime.

HIGH LIFE

Claire Denis’ High Life is erotic and provocative — two words we love at PROVOKR. In this sci-fi adventure, convicts are sent to space to serve their sentences. It’s a captivating premise with an ample dose of drama.

High Life is available on Amazon Prime.

TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART 1

Even if you haven’t seen the Twilight franchise, it’s okay to dive right into the two-part finale. You have to get a sense of who R-Pat was before his prestige films — and see him break the bed with Kristen Stewart. Yeah, that’s the only reason.

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is available on Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1.

MAPS TO THE STARS

David Cronenberg is known for his out-there films — and Maps to the Stars is no different. The raw portrait of a celebrity features Julianne Moore as a washed-up star. Surrounding her are characters who come in and out of her life, including Mia Wasikowska, John Cusack, and, of course, Pattinson.

COSMOPOLIS

In another Cronenberg feature, Pattinson plays the main character whose trip to get a haircut launches an odyssey across Manhattan. Pattinson, a 28-year-old billionaire, will likely give you insight into what to expect from him as The Batman.

Cosmopolis is available on Tubi.

THE ROVER

Guy Pearce and Pattinson make an insane duo in this wasteland crime drama. The film takes place ten years after an economic collapse, and its high-intensity plot drives the movie forward. If you want to watch one of Pattinson’s best performances, this should top your list.

The Rover is available on Showtime.

TENET

Finally, Christopher Nolan’s spy epic is available to buy online. Though it underperformed at the box office likely because of COVID-19, the John David Washington and Pattinson-led adventure is worth the price to watch it.

Tenet is available to buy on Amazon.
