STEAMY STREAMING: RYAN GOSLING
Blue Valentine, Blade Runner 2049 +

Ryan Gosling has been heating up our screens for years. The two-time Academy Award nominee has depth and range that is unmatchable. And, his suave personality and handsome looks make him easy to watch. Check out some of our favorite films featuring the actor:
ALL GOOD THINGS
Erotic thrillers have tapered off in the last decade, but Gosling and Kirsten Dunst gave us one of the best with the 2010s All Good Things. The young couple’s romance is overshadowed by Gosling’s need for wealth and power.
All Good Things is available for free on PROVOKR this week.
BLUE VALENTINE
Gosling and Michelle Williams are an undeniably sexy couple in this drama. Blue Valentine follows their characters throughout years of their relationship in a non-linear fashion. It’s emotional and hot, wrapped into one fantastic film.

Blue Valentine is available for free on Tubi.
BLADE RUNNER 2049
Denis Villeneuve brought us the new sequel to Blade Runner in 2017. In it, Gosling plays a Blade Runner who has to find Harrison Ford’s Rick Deckard, who has been missing for 30 years. Ana de Armas also stars, so you have no reason not to watch.
Blade Runner 2049 is available to rent on Vudu.
DRIVE
In the car thriller Drive, Gosling plays a stuntman who has a side hustle as a getaway driver. He kicks ass while also sparking a steamy romance with Carey Mulligan’s character.
Drive is available on Netflix.
THE BIG SHORT
Gosling plays a total d*ck in The Big Short, which makes him an exciting quasi-narrator. The film shows his range as he balances a highbrow concept with comedic flair.
The Big Short is available to rent on Amazon.
LA LA LAND
OK, Gosling should have won the Academy Award for his role as Sebastian in La La Land. His performance alongside Emma Stone was marvelous. Even if you’re not a fan of musicals, try this one out. You won’t be disappointed.
La La Land is available on HBO Max.
THE NOTEBOOK
Now we’ve finally reached the performance that put Ryan Gosling on the map as a movie star. I don’t know a straight man who hasn’t said they like The Notebook to try to get into a woman’s pants then ended up liking it. It’s sexy, emotional and Rachel McAdams makes it even better. Happy watching, PROVOKRs.
The Notebook is available on Netflix.
