OK, let’s be honest for a second. We’ve all felt majorly attracted to a character in a movie and didn’t understand why exactly. That what happened with the fishman in The Shape of Water. (That scaly butt just really did it for us). But there have been other notable creatures that turned us on over the years — some of them scary, but all of them sexy:

DREN FROM SPLICE

It’s no surprise that Shape of Water director Guilermo del Toro is an executive producer on this 2009 Canadian-French sci-fi horror film. Dren (played by Delphine Chanéac) is expertly seductive. She sure knows how to use that tail, if you know what I mean. Splice is available to stream on HBO.

GRENDEL’S MOTHER FROM BEOWULF

In epic-to-big-screen movie, Beowulf is tempted by the monster Grendel’s mother, who is played by Angelina Jolie. She is coated in shiny gold paint that drips down her body as she exits the water. Jolie literally shines, and that explains why Beowulf is seduced. We want to stay in that cave forever too. Beowulf is available to stream on Hulu.

LOUIS AND LESTAT FROM INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE

A young Tom Cruise and a young Brad Pitt team up as the sexy vampires in the 1994 film Interview with the Vampire. The two get it on, and we all wish they were biting our necks. These two were definitely our first crushes, too. Interview with the Vampire is available to stream on Cinemax.

JENNIFER IN JENNIFER’S BODY

Megan Fox was the perfect casting choice for the lead in Jennifer’s Body. In the film, Jennifer turns into a succubus who uses her body to seduce men that she later kills. It’s kind of genius, and we aren’t complaining. Jennifer’s Body is available on YouTube for $3.99.

SELENE FROM UNDERWORLD

Selene is an other-worldly badass, female assassin. Played by Kate Beckinsale, Selen looks hot in her all-black ensemble and looks even hotter when she’s fighting the battle against werewolves. We could seriously watch Selene all day. Underworld is available to stream on Vudu.
