Summer’s Sexiest Shows
A guide to the hottest series on TV

Orange is the New Black
Season debut: June 17 on Netflix
Now that it’s heading into its fourth season, OITNB has its winning formula down pat: rotating subplots delving into the personal lives of all the oddball prisoners, intricate jail cell turf battles, and, of course, more drama and sexual fireworks (like this scene from last season) between Piper (Taylor Schilling) and Alex (Laura Prepon).
Casual
Season debut: June 7 on Hulu
Despite being one of the best shows to debut last year, the quirky Hulu dramedy about a dysfunctional family that often resorts to seeking out casual sex to distract themselves from their issues, never reached break-out hit status. Hopefully that will all change when more people realize just how funny, touching and raunchy the show can be.
Pretty Little Liars
Season debut: June 21 on Freeform
For a series that was initially designed to be “Desperate Housewives for teens,” the show consistently delivers surprisingly erotic scenes that span the sexuality spectrum, from Emily (Shay Mitchell) evolving into a self-confident lesbian to the undisputed chemistry—on display in this video clip—between Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding).
Ray Donovan
Season debut: June 26 on Showtime
Liev Schreiber’s titular character—a “fixer” who helps the rich and famous get out of legal jams—often finds himself in sexually compromising situations. And then there’s his ex-con dad Mickey (Jon Voight) who’s the kind of guy whose idea of a great night out is doing a line of coke off of a hooker’s ass.
UnReal
Season debut: June 6 on Lifetime
Everyone is wrestling with their sexual desires on Lifetime’s send-up of The Bachelor and while the footage shot for the series’ faux-reality show Everlasting may be hyped-up fiction, real, titillating action is always going on behind the scenes.
Mr. Robot
Season debut: July 13 on USA
The first season of the USA drama about hackers trying to take down an evil conglomerate featured some truly out-there sex scenes. The kinkiest couple on the show are Joanna Wellick (played by model Stephanie Corneliussen)—who didn’t let her pregnancy get in the way of having a little fun with bondage— and her husband Tyrell (Martin Wallstrom), who didn’t let the fact that he’s heterosexual stop him having anal sex with a guy to further his professional ambitions.
Mistresses
Season debut: May 30 on ABC
The prime time soap about a group of female friends returns for its fourth season of episodes filled with romance, betrayal, and unabashed sexual adventures. Yes, it’s a network show, but the drama’s not afraid to dabble in threesomes, same-sex couplings and assorted kinks.
