EUPHORIA
The HBO show starring Zendaya, Jacob Elordi and breakout star Hunter Schafer was the hit of the summer. It shows the grittier sides of the teenagers’ lives, which hooked viewers for its 8-episode season. It has already been renewed for season two, so get ready for more of this technicolored teenage drama.
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES
The vampire series were in full force by the time The Vampire Diaries came around. The CW show put Nina Dobrev in the middle of a love triangle between Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder. All eight seasons are available on Netflix and is an easy binge.
THE VIRGIN SUICIDES
Sofia Coppola made a name for herself with her directorial debut. She likely had a lot to live up to being the granddaughter of THe Godfather director, Francis Ford Coppola. The film follows a group of boys who become obsessed with the girls from a family down the street. The flick is intriguing and can be found on Tubi.
HEATHERS

TWILIGHT
If Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s brooding expressions in the Twilight franchise don’t signify angst in the 21st century, then nothing does. The teen drama follows a vampire who falls in love with a human. That leads to a love story full of confusion that leads to bed-breaking sex. All five movies epitomize the teen fantasy romance genre. REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE
We can’t talk about the teen genre without going back to one of the most popular. Bad boy Dean Martin stars in the 1955 film alongside Sal Mineo and Natalie Wood. The Oscar-nominated film is available to rent on YouTube.
