THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT
Kaley Cuoco's Murders, Mayhem + Mysteries

Former The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco is making moves. The sitcom star breaks out of her mold and folds her comedic chops into the new HBO Max original The Flight Attendant. But her role doesn’t end with her character on screen.
The Flight Attendant is the first series from her production company, Norman Productions. The show marks Cuoco’s return to TV after The Big Bang Theory.

“It’s been an unbelievable experience to go from 12 years of such silly, fun comedy to something like this,” she told the LA Times. “In the later episodes, I’m very raw, crying with no makeup on and, like, completely breaking down. I didn’t think anyone would give me this opportunity, so I felt like I had to get the project made myself and prove that this is actually the kind of work I want to be doing.”
The Flight Attendant is based on Chris Bohjalian’s bestselling novel that follows Cassie (Cuoco), a stewardess who loves booze, sex, and adventure. When she meets a man seated in 3C (Michiel Huisman, known for The Haunting of Hill House), the pair sneak off to the bathroom, have sex then enjoy a fantastic night in Bangkok.

When Cassie wakes up in the morning, she finds her one-night stand dead in bed beside her. She can only remember parts of the night, so she is caught up in a global crime. Oh, and the dead guy haunts her consciousness with a device that mimics the novel’s inner dialogue.
The trailer — watch it by clicking on the image above — entices us. The series offers a seductive quality that reels us in and has us begging for more. Not to mention a rendition of Britney Spears’ “Toxic” aptly plays in the background. We can’t wait to watch this thrilling, chaotic murder mystery. We hope you’ll watch it as well, PROVOKRs.
