Top 5 Hot TV Hookers
The new (Working) Girls On The Block

Everyone loves hookers! They’re the dispensers of streetwise wisdom, they like to party, their rates are usually reasonable, and they’ve always got condoms. PROVOKR is a strong advocate for “safety first.”
Last year we covered some of the hottest girls on the block. However, since then, some new blood has entered the fray, so let’s take a look at this year’s crop of sexy streetwalkers.
Anna – The Girlfriend Experience
Season 2 of The Girlfriend Experience has a whole new set of characters from the first season, and one of the leads is Anna, played by Louisa Krause, who gets involved in a dangerous blackmail scheme in the dangerous, cutthroat world of Washington D.C. politics. The new season starts November 5 on Starz.
Bria – The Girlfriend Experience
This year, The Girlfriend Experience will tell two independent stories. Throughout the season, it will jump back and forth between Anna and Bria, played by Carmen Ejogo. Bria is in the Witness Protection Program, in hiding from her violent ex-boyfriend. Despite her hidden status, she finds herself embroiled once again in the “sex worker racket,” and the story only escalates from there.
Candy – The Deuce
HBO‘s hottest new show is The Deuce, which is really pushing the boundary with regards to its risqué sexual content; it is, after all, set in the world of 1970s pornography. Candy (Maggie Gyllenhaal) is the rare prostitute who refuses to work for a pimp, and the show follows her as she becomes a starlet in the emerging porn industry. The Deuce currently airs on HBO and has been renewed for a second season.
Darlene – The Deuce
Despite the star power and masterful performances of actors like Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Franco, the breakout star of The Deuce has to be Dominique Fishback as Darlene. The Deuce shows how hard it is for a smart, independent woman to be taken seriously in a male-dominated world. But it’s even tougher for Darlene, whose oppressive pimp and creepy clients belie her intellectual nature; alas, there’s precious little opportunity to enjoy classic books and movies when you’re struggling to survive the streets of 1970s New York City.
Charlotts – Harlots
For our final entry, we go even further in the past, all the way back to 1763, for the British series (Hulu in the States), Harlots. Jessica Brown Findlay plays Charlotte Wells, London prostitute at a local brothel. It gets complicated, since the madam is her mother, Margaret (the show’s star, Samantha Morton), who had auctioned off her own daughter’s virginity when she was only twelve years old. Needlessly to say, it was a different time. The show is unafraid to shine a harsh light on the sex trade, something which fiction routinely depicts as harmless or even whimsical. Season 2 of Harlots debuts in 2018.
