COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on the world for the last few months. As states begin the process of re-opening, some things will return to normal. But if you counted on the return of your TV shows, you might have to wait. Here’s when you can expect your faves to return:

THE AMAZING RACE

The Amazing Race started taping its 33rd season in late February, but the coronavirus halted production. The cast and crew of the CBS show were shooting in the UK when it shut down. The 32nd season was supposed to start in May, but the network held it for fall to fill its dwindling schedule.

ATLANTA

It seems we’re always waiting for Donald Glover’s Atlanta. Season three was pushed from a fall debut to January 2021. The good news is we’ll get ten episodes rather than the original eight.

EUPHORIA

The cast of the HBO hit had just started table reads when COVID-19 stopped production. Euphoria was slated for a mid-summer return, but there’s no word on how long the delay will last. With nothing on tape yet, we might have to wait several more months to see Zendaya and Hunter Schafer back on HBO.

THE FALCON AND WINTER SOLDIER

The Falcon and Winter Soldier has experienced a few delays. An earthquake in Puerto Rican interrupted filming last year and COVID-19 brought the crew home from Prague. The show goes on, though, as they only had one more week to complete and likely did so from Atlanta. Its August release still hasn’t been set, but we’ll probably see Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie back in action by September.

GENIUS: ARETHA

Cynthia Erivo was supposed to grace our TV sets as Aretha Franklin on Memorial Day, but the latest season of Genius is on hold. With only weeks left to record, production stopped on March 13.

THE HANDMAID’S TALE

The Handmaid’s Tale suffered a significant production setback. The series’ fourth iteration is  delayed until 2021, marking the first year there won’t be a new season. Luckily, June isn’t ending before we get a peek at Elisabeth Moss in the upcoming season. Watch the teaser below.

IMPEACHMENT: AMERICAN CRIME STORY

The next event to be chronicled in Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story was delayed a couple of months before the nation shut down, but the virus means we have to wait much longer. Murphy said he wouldn’t be able to work on Impeachment — documenting the Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky scandal — until March, which meant the season wasn’t going to air until October. Now, who knows?

THE MORNING SHOW

The Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon-led AppleTV+ series was one of the first to shut down. It initially stated its hiatus would be just two weeks. Now it seems the series may miss its early fall date for season two.

RIVERDALE

Riverdale was still taping its fourth season when it shut down. The popular teen drama had three episodes to film and edit in post-production. Instead, season four was shortened and the remaining episodes will kick-start season five. Unfortunately, we won’t see them until January 2021.

SUCCESSION

Season two of Succession ended with a major cliffhanger and fans of the HBO series won’t see it play out this summer. The show usually airs in July and August, but season three won’t.

SURVIVOR

Survivor was to begin production when it was put on hold in March. That means season 42 won’t start on time and fans will have to wait.

THE WITCHER

The Witcher heated our screens last year and it was in the middle of production for season two when COVID-19 hit. The fantasy drama, starring Henry Cavill, is set to return in 2021, so it might not experience significant delays. Fingers crossed!
