Gossip Girl
Yep, you read that right–Gossip Girl has returned, but this time, with a whole new cast. While Serena and Blair won’t be gracing your screens, Kristen Bell is still the voice. This unique and improved version of the series centers around rich New York teens and intense, juicy rumors spread through social media. You can thank HBO Max for this revival.
American Horror Stories
Ryan Murphy has decided to bless us with yet another series, and that is American Horror Stories. AHS takes a new form, as this series seems to blend every season of American Horror Story, and each episode will tell a different tale. It premiered July 15, and episodes are released weekly, exclusively on Hulu.
Fear Street Trilogy
In the mood for something nostalgic and terrifying? Netflix released a trilogy based on R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books. The Fear Street Trilogy follows a group of teens who live in a small town with a haunted past, present, and possible future. The movies were released weekly starting July 2, and now you can binge-watch them all to your liking.
Space Jam: A New Legacy
Space Jam is back, and it’s starring none other than Lebron James! The movie was released on HBO Max and in theaters on July 16. It’s the perfect combination of basketball, cartoons (ahem, Bugs Bunny), and family fun.
Manifest
Manifest is a series that aired in 2018 on NBC. The show was then canceled earlier this year, put on Netflix, and now, it’s being considered by the streaming service to be brought back. Intrigued? The series follows a flight that disappeared mysteriously and then miraculously reappears five and a half years later. It’s all the rage right now. So join the movement to bring Manifest back!
Sky Rojo 2
Sky Rojo is back for a second season! If you aren’t familiar with the show, it’s a Netflix original Spanish action series about three prostitutes on the run from their pimp and his henchmen. The new season comes out July 23, so definitely start watching the show now to have a full binge-watch weekend.
