YOUR HONOR BRYAN CRANSTON
Breaking Bad's Dad Gets Down & Dirty Again

PROVOKR presents you with stunning new images from Bryan Cranston’s upcoming series Your Honor.
In the years following Breaking Bad’s incredible finale, Bryan Cranston has spent most of his time doing voice-over work for popular cartoons like Family Guy and Robot Chicken. If all of you Breaking Baddies out there are waiting for Crantson’s return to live-action TV, you won’t have to wait much longer.

Watler White, er, I mean, Bryan Cranston is taking on the role of a judge working to protect his son in Showtime’s Your Honor. When Adam Desiato (played by Hunter Doohan) is involved in a hit-and-run, Cranston’s Michael Desiato must (ab)use his powers as a prominent New Orleans judge to save his son from the criminal justice system and the crime family to which the victim belonged. It’s a tension-filled ride with Cranston at the very center.

The attention-grabbing trailer — watch that above — provides a glimpse into Cranston’s character, which has similarities and noticeable differences to Walter White. It’s clear Michael is a better father than Walter. He’s present and fighting for his son. But, the obsessiveness and stoic demeanor are there, qualities in both characters.

The 10-part limited series marks Cranston’s first lead television performance since Breaking Bad. Though it’s a limited series — meaning we’re not likely to get more seasons — we can’t help to hope this is Cranston’s first of many future TV projects. Perhaps this will earn him a seventh Emmy. Only time will tell, and we will be tuning in.
