Who doesn’t love a sexy movie trailer before the film you paid good money to see begins? Sexy trailers are an art. They should and can stimulate like not other movie trailer does. Your breath catches, your pulse quickens and you get that hot awakening call from down under.

I know somewhere there are studio marketing executives who are messing these all up but somehow these 7 have survived enough to qualify and stand alone as total turn ons. Some like Gaspar Noe’s Love and Fifty Shades of Grey are near masterpieces. An honorable mention goes to Last Tango but that pesky marketing executive insisted on way too much story. Was there a story?

Gaspar Noe created his own trailer for Love and it is way in the erotic zone with a long clip of a developing threesome. Basic Instinct is all about Sharon Stone. Every cut of the trailer she exudes sexuality. The Postman Always Rings Twice with Jack Nicolson and Jessica Lange is a film noir steaming story of unleashed passion. True Romance is a “four alarm fire”. Patricia Arquette’s Alabama and Christian Slater’s Clarence phone booth sex make the trailer. From France, a feverish story of two people in love, love, maybe too much love is Bettty Blue. Fifty Shades of Grey with the help of a genius editor and sound/music team builds the sexual tension in the first 20 seconds and then delivers and delivers. It’s “Crazy Right Now.” 91/2 Weeks one of the sexiest movies ever made has a trailer to match.

Totally believable is the obsession between then gorgeous Mickey Rourke and gorgeous Kim Basinger. You can feel the addiction, the slavery the right sex or wrong sex can create. Enjoy.
