The Beatles is the most prolific band in music history. The band and its members inspired many years of musicians, but the band still partially remains shrouded in mystery. This generation of Beatles fans haven’t had the opportunity to get intimate with the legendary rock band — until now. Peter Jackson’s Beatles: Get Back docuseries pulls back the curtain on a three-week period of time when the Beatles wrote and recorded its final studio album, Let It Be.

In a new 4-minute trailer — watch it below —- we start to see the story unfold. The Beatles, on the verge of splitting up, have come together to record its final studio album. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison, who temporarily quit the band during production, are all there. They haven’t performed live in three years, but that’s all about to change. Not only are they writing and recording their new album; they’re also preparing for a live show. And there to capture it all is documentarian Michael Lindsay-Hogg.

With more than 57 hours of footage and 140 hours of audio recording, Lindsay-Hogg made the 1970 documentary Let It Be. Most of that footage has gone unseen — that is until Jackson dug it up. Over the course of three days on the Thanksgiving weekend, Disney+ will release Jackson’s docuseries that provides that intimate look at the prestigious band and the making of its final album. The Beatles: Get Back was originally slated and even premiered as a 6-hour movie. Broken up into three, two-hour segments, the docuseries is going to be something everyone will be talking about. It even includes the full 42-minute impromptu concert the Beatles performed on the rooftop of its studio.
