BILLIE EILISH DROPS NDA
From the Dark Side, a Sick Road Film and Song

While dodging stunt drivers and imagined stalkers on a dark road Billie Eilish has self directed another very distinct and mesmerizing film. The song is at once self analytical, heartbreaking and creepy good. Just the way we like her. The film is dark, shot on a black night and Billie is dressed in all black and her blonde hair is much more unkempt. Hopefully she is moving away from the glam stuff. NDA is slick as always from masterful producer Finneas O’Connell.
Her life, as the lyrics describe it, seems amazing and lonely all at the same time. Having a pretty boy sign an NDA who came over sounds so sad but fame does have a huge cost. An NDA is a non-disclosure agreement that is legal and binding and in this case used to silence her boy visitor to never speak of his visit.
Her passionate and pained voice sings of her observation that someone didn’t save her and won’t let her go. Kind of sounds like a good time for a talk with Mom or a co-dependent anonymous meeting. Questioning, questioning is Billie’s dialogue with herself in a good and bad way in NDA. Her heart and mind both drive Billie in and out of opposite sides of light and dark in this new film and song and we love it.
