BILLIE’S BOND VIDEO
Haunting, Heartbreaking No Time To Die

The music video for the Billie Eilish‘s theme song for the new Bond thriller and heartbreaker, No Time to Die, just dropped. No Time to Die is the 25th Bond film and Billie Eilish at 18 (youngest ever) sings it and co-wrote the song with her brother Finneas O’Connell.

Billie Eilish delivers a love song of painful betrayal, chilling lyrics and her superb haunting voice. Hans Zimmer, the film’s composer, picked Billie to do the theme song over some resistance from within the Bond producing team. There is no more resistance, only praise. Han Zimmer said, “That’s the vibe. That’s the everything. It’s a perfect movie song in it’s quietness, somehow you have a landscape in front of you.”
The song is all Billie Eilish with Finneas O’Connell’s and Hans Zimmer’s genius mixed in perfectly. Daniel Craig said, “It’s so emotive that sound and everyone will remember we are in a Bond movie.”

Her much-deserved reign continues as one of the most talented singer and songwriters (with brother Finneas O’Connell) of this century. The new video is Bille starkly singing the song in black and white cut against a background of clips of the film. She sings as if possessed by some of the greatest singers of all time. A little too much of the story is told in the clips but we couldn’t take out eyes of Billie anyway. It is a thrill to watch Billie be Billie and deliver a magnificent new Bond theme. The full soundtrack is available on November 13th.
