In this new behind the scenes film footage of a cover shoot for British GQ, the stunning Cara Delevingne transforms herself into sexy spacecase Barbarella, the iconic role made famous almost 50 years ago by Jane Fonda. Wearing a variety of vintage Thierry Mugler metallic outfits, silver headpieces, and a sleek platinum bob, the model-turned-actress becomes a fashionable, futuristic robot.

Shot for GQ’s August 2017 cover by Mariano Vivanco, the concept was inspired by Cara’s new sci-fi film, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, directed by Luc Bresson (opens July 21).

Documenting the fashion shoot in this super-sexy video, is up-and-coming photographer/filmmaker Renell Medrano, using the new Kodak Super 8, a reboot of the classic 60s era camera. Available later this year, Kodak hopes this updated version will inspire the next generation of filmmakers, as it once did with directors like Christopher Nolan and JJ Abrams, who, in an homage to his first camera, named his third feature film, Super 8.
