UK Music Producer Eli Brown's Short
OK, PROVOKRs, strap in because we have one of the trippiest music videos/short films we’ve seen in a while. British house producer Eli Brown teamed up with alt rock band Talk Show for an incredible display of talent on “In Trouble Now.” You’ll have this on repeat all week.
The nearly 3-minute music video features a group of people aggressively walking to the beat of the music — and that’s fast. Perhaps this should be our inspiration for shedding those quarantine pounds. Directed by @brockagram, the film shoot spanned 5,000 miles and was filmed in 100 locations throughout London.
With a grim end and an allusion to the unknown, this film is unsettling in just the right way. Give this director a runway show to direct, we say. He already knows how to get the power walk out of these actors. Not to mention the muted, dark palette adds a mystery to the subject — and we can’t look away. Happy watching, PROVOKRs.
