International Pop
A Walker Art Center video explores the worldwide phenomenon of Pop Art

Organized by the Walker Art Center in 2015, the exhibition “International Pop” looks at the development of Pop Art—the appropriation and transformation of pop culture into something exalted and profound—as not just a movement centered in New York and London, but all around the world, from France to Brazil to Japan. Since local cultures differ, so does their versions of Pop Art, as this wonderful video celebrates.
